Lighting Up The Night (Original Recording Remastered)

We believe that lighting strikes twice here at Friday Music. Due to the popular demand from you the fans, we have good news to report to that we are releasing his second smash effort Lighting Up The Night this January 2009. The phones and email requests were so positive that we are more than happy to give the fans what they ask for!

Like our first project All I Need (FRM 1052), Lighting Up The Night was produced by the superstar team of Glen Ballard (Aerosmith) and Cliff Magness. This was a nice chart success for Jack in 1985, but due to the newness of the compact disc at that time, this incredible album for some reason, never got released on CD. However, we are making this available for the first time cd anywhere! Remastered from the original Warner vault tapes by Joe Reagoso (America, Doobie Brothers, Orleans), we think you will be pleasantly surprised by the depth and tonality of this second effort from Jack Wagner.

It included a number of singles and hits that his fans remember like Too Young, If She Loves The Way She Looks and the amazing duet with Valerie Carter Love Can't Take Us All The Way. Jack even wrote several of the songs and had some great friends like Quincy Jones, Jeff Lorber, Joel Peskin, Nathan East and Dan Huff. A really class event all the way.

Order it now and be the first one on your block to own it. We hope to have our copies way before the new year, so order a couple for the holidays! Rock on!

All I Need (Original Recording Remastered)

Jack Wagner, the master musician, actor, professional golfer and soap opera hero has been making great music for over two decades. In 1984, he released his debut album on Quincy Jones Qwest Records, and locked in a top of the charts smash with the title track All I Need. For some odd reason, the album was never officially released on compact disc in North America, and to the dismay of his huge fan base, the album itself has been out of print for over a decade. That is until now!

Friday Music with the help from the wonderful folks at Rhino Entertainment/Warner Music Group are proud to re-release All I Need for the first time on compact disc in the good old U.S.A. This time around, you get a wonderful remastering as only Friday Music is known for, as well as incredible new liner notes from the superstar producer/songwriter and original co-producer of this album Glen Ballard (Alanis Morissette, Chicago, Aerosmith)

This album is filled with 10 incredible performances from Jack including the #1 title track, the follow up smash Lady Of My Heart, Premonition, as well as radio favorites Tell Him (That You Won't Go) and Fighting The Nights. All I Need struck a chord with a lot of people back in the 80s. We think this new re-release will spark some good memories for a lot of his fans, because it has definitely rekindled some for the folks at Friday Music.

All I Need is back... complete with wonderful new remastered sound, restored original artwork, a nice essay from Glen Ballard, and of most importance, the ten original songs that begun the successful career of this generations favorite all around renaissance man, Jack Wagner. Enjoy!
