After the success of their brilliant comeback album Lynyrd Skynyrd 1991 (FRM 1141), Lynyrd Skynyrd followed things up rebel style with the very hard rockin’ The Last Rebel.
Filled with amazing southern fried rock and blues classics like the hard rock fare of One Thing, the blues belter Love Don't Always Come Easy, and of course the top ten charting Good Lovin's Hard To Find.
In addition to these rock classics, this soulful session included more chart hits with the powerhouse Born To Run, plus their amazing title track The Last Rebel.
The 1993 classic also featured the original Lynyrd Skynryd founders Gary Rossington, Ed King, the late greats Allen Collins, Leon Wilkerson and Billy Powell, plus the hard rockin' vocals and songwriting of superstar Johnny Van-Zant and their new alumni Dale Kranz Rossington and Randall Hall.
Friday Music welcomes back our old friends Lynyrd Skynyrd with another classic in their Friday Music Lynyrd Skynyrd series with the smokin' The Last Rebel.
For the first time on compact disc in several years, this limited edition masterwork was mastered from the original Atlantic Records tapes by Joe Reagoso (Lynyrd Skynyrd/Deep Purple/Alice Cooper) and produced by the late great southern soul and rock giant Barry Beckett (Traffic/Bob Dylan). This masterwork also includes the original artwork elements, as well as the ten brilliant tunes you will always remember.
