Jefferson Starship
Freedom At Point Zero/Winds Of Change (Original Recordings Remastered) [Deluxe 2 CD Set]

Jefferson Starship’s Freedom At Point Zero offered a new harder rock approach to their already successful formula with new lead vocalist, Mickey Thomas, as Jefferson Airplane alumni Grace Slick and Marty Balin pursued solo careers. This new incarnation proved to be a solid commercial success on the charts, as the 1979 masterwork became a smash, thanks to the help of their classic rock tracks like Jane and Rock Music.

Grace Slick later returned to this Bay area band and is featured on their classics Modern Times & Nuclear Furniture (Friday Music 2098) and on 1982’s Winds Of Change. Containing super charged hits like Be My Lady and Out Of Control, Jefferson Starship’s legacy continued onward for many years as proven by this solid gold offering.

Friday Music is no stranger to the important musical catalogs of Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and Starship. With the excellent pairing of Freedom At Point Zero and Winds Of Change, now impeccably remastered from the original Grunt/RCA Records tapes by Joe Reagoso, this exclusive deluxe two CD set surely offers up some of their fi nest albums ever.
