1973 was a banner year for the legendary Alice Cooper and his band with their smash hit album Muscle Of Love. As a seventh album in his longstanding career with Warner Bros. Records, Muscle Of Love was a hard rocking event which many of his fans point to as one of their favorite Alice Cooper albums of choice. It’s easy to hear why!

1975 was a banner year for superstar Alice Cooper with his conceptual hit album Welcome To My Nightmare. A precursor to the video revolution, Welcome To My Nightmare was an extravaganza on many historic levels. As a major television broadcast seen by millions, the album soared to the top of pop and rock charts, thanks to the clever paring of the songs, acting and general persona of the legend Alice Cooper.

Teaming up again with his long time producer Bob Ezrin, the duo assembled some of the greatest music to go along with the David Winter produced film, and in doing so, created some of his best known songs like the huge hit single Only Women Bleed. This top 5 single carried Welcome To My Nightmare into multiple platinum territory and forever etched the word superstar to the name of Alice Cooper.

Special guest star legend Vincent Price pays a visit as The Curator and narrator on Devil's Food. Friday Music is very proud to announce this 1972 classic release as part of our ongoing Alice Cooper 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl Series. Produced by Bob Ezrin, this album forever etched the word superstar next to Alice Cooper's name, as this legacy recording has nothing but great memories of super hard rock and great songs fit for a king.

Aside from the anthem title track, the album contained equally strong album tracks like Public Animal #9, My Stars and Alma Mater. This multi-platinum effort also has been one of the most influential hard rock recordings of its time, and one of the biggest albums of his amazing career.
