Hall, Larry Hoppen and Lance Hoppen, collectively known as the
platinum hit makers Orleans are back after a long hiatus between
studio albums. Dancin' In The Moonlight continues
the fine tradition and marks the amazing return of the band that
brought us countless hits like "Still The One" "Dance
With Me" and "Love Takes Time".
The stellar remake of "Dancin' In The Moonlight" is
the perfect summer sing along record. This new hit version has
all of the musical elements you come to expect from this powerful
trio. With trademark Orleans harmonies, this oldie but goodie gets
the five star treatment and makes the listener want to keep playing
it over and over again.
"Mission of Mercy" is one of Larry Hoppen's
personal favorites from the album. One can see why, it has a great
story, wonderful vocal support by the band, and it really kicks
things off to a fine start on this new disc. The inspirational
track "Heaven" continues this winning streak with more
of the same good feeling vibe you get when you listen to any song
on this collection.
Let's not forget the much copied and emulated guitar styling
of Mr. John Hall. This album is loaded with his signature axe chores
throughout, and along with the three part harmonies of Larry, Lance
and John, Orleans have truly delivered a solid album which can
sit proudly beside their previous efforts like "Orleans" "Let
There Be Music" and "Forever".
Friday Music is very proud to have the band on board and you can
look here for further releases from the band in the near future.
Orleans Dancin' In The Moonlight. Make sure your summer
plans include this wonderful new album!
